The rules of the house

What Revived Online is

A free, non-commercial fan project: our own server, launcher and website for the 2008 online card game client. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or approved by the makers or rights holders of the original game. Their names, marks and works belong to them. Revived Online contains none of their software, assets or card data, and never provides, links or helps you find the client.

Who may play

  • You are 16 or older.
  • You use your own, lawfully obtained copy of the original client.
  • Your account is yours alone: don't share, sell, lend or trade it.

Free, and no money, ever

  • Nothing is for sale: no shop for money, no premium, no donations.
  • Cards, items, Mileage, DP and everything else in the game have no monetary value. They are not your property and can't be exchanged for money or anything outside the game.
  • No real-money trading: don't buy, sell or trade accounts, cards or items for money, goods or services outside the game, and don't offer to.
  • We may correct mistakes, reverse fraudulent trades and, during the beta, reset progress.

Play fair, be decent

  • No harassment, hate, threats or sharing other people's personal details.
  • No sexual content involving or directed at minors. Zero tolerance; it is reported to the authorities.
  • No cheating: no modified clients or tools other than our launcher, no bots, no exploits of bugs, and no extra accounts to farm rewards or dodge a sanction. Report bugs with !bug instead of using them.
  • Don't pretend to be staff.

Moderation

Staff can warn, mute, restrict trading or duels, and suspend or ban accounts, in steps that fit what happened. We tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, write to the contact above; we answer within 14 days.

The service

  • Revived Online is offered as it is, for free. It may change, be down for maintenance, or end at any time.
  • The 2008 client is old software with no modern protections. Use a password you use nowhere else and keep personal details out of chat.
  • Our liability is limited as far as the law allows; mandatory consumer rights are unaffected. Swiss law applies.

If you believe something here infringes your rights, write to the contact above and name it. We look at every notice promptly and remove material that shouldn't be here.
